Quick Overview of World Science Festival – Brisbane 2017:
The World Science Festival in Brisbane is an annual celebration of science, maths, technology, engineering, and the arts which is held each March in Brisbane. It features interactive displays, musical performances and a large host of events.
What Is It?
Following the huge success last year, the World Science Festival is back again in Brisbane this year with loads of amazing things to experience and explore.
The festival is host to a huge collection of great minds in science and the arts that come together to present the wonders of science and discovery.
At the festival you can discover interactive scientific displays, musical performances, major outdoor events, theatrical works and much more.
One of our favorite events held at the World Science Festival would have to be the turtle hatching. Real turtles are incubated, watched and timed so that the public can witness turtles hatching during the festival. The turtles are then released offshore or taken to Underwater World Sea Life Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast.
When Is It?
The World Science Festival kicks off on Wednesday 22nd of March and finishes up on Sunday 26th of March.
