Open 24/7 The Pancake Manor is a family friendly restaurant located in Brisbane’s CBD, serving everything from pancakes and waffles, to crepes and burgers.
What Is It?
The Pancake Manor is a family friendly restaurant located in a beautiful church building, formerly St Luke’s Cathedral. The magnificent brick building was built in 1904 by John Steward and Company and was since refurbished in 1979, to become The Pancake Manor – serving delicious pancakes and meals 24/7.
Located below the restaurant in the old newspaper boy’s club room, you will also find the Good Knight Bar, which is a great place for casual drinks, birthdays, or any kind of function.
The restaurant and bar maintain the buildings historical theme, featuring knight armour on display and church pews for seating.
What’s On The Menu?
The Pancake Manor serves a delicious range of pancakes, waffles, and crepes. Also on the menu you’ll find salads, burgers and even steak.
When we visited The Pancake Manor we started off with a delicious serving of potato wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.
After the wedges, we stuck with traditional style pancake stacks, consisting of three fluffy buttermilk pancakes, served with whipped butter and maple syrup, and we opted to include ice cream on top… they were delicious!
