What Is It?
Frew Park is a 3.5 hectare parkland and playground in Milton built on the site of the former Milton Tennis Center and Milton Bowl site.
The parks tennis heritage is featured throughout the park, including in the large playground dubbed “The Arena”, that combines architectural and play components based on the former tennis court grandstand.
The massive unfenced playground features a large climbing wall, huge slides, climbing ledges and even an enclosed mesh cage that hangs 8M off the ground! There are both rubber and cement surface areas within the playground.
It also features all the usual fun stuff like swings, smaller slides for younger children, balance beams and much more.
The playground is surrounded by picnic shelter structures with barbeque’s that provide the perfect spot for parents to rest whilst the kids play, as well as winding footpaths to ride bikes or scooters.
There is a cafe located right next to the playground that serves delicious tea, coffee and snacks. The balcony hanging from the cafe also provides another great place to relax whilst watching the kids play.
One of our favorite things about Frew Park is the basketball hoop wall where kids can shoot hoops, and the pingpong table! (Just remember to bring your own balls and bats).

What Should I Bring?
We recommend bring along a hat, some sunscreen and some comfortable closed in shoes. We also recommend bringing along a picnic lunch (unless you prefer to dine in at the cafe above the park). Finally we also recommend bringing along a basketball to play against the hoop wall, and some pingpong balls/bats if you plan on playing on the table.
