What Is It?
Located in the heart if Brisbane City, Archives Fine Books is one of Australia’s largest collections of rare, unusual and collectable books. As you approach from the outside, the store looks like any other store, unassuming and everyday – but as soon as you walk in the door, you know you’re not in any old book store.
Upon entering you are immediately greeted with large, beautiful, dusty shelves that feel like something out of a fantasy movie.
The shelves are lined with over a million books ranging every genre you could think of, from science fiction to religion, philosophy to fantasy; Archives Fine Books really does have something for everyone, within its seemingly never ending aisles.

Whilst you’re visiting Archives Fine Books, we also recommend checking out the nearby Pancake Manor for some delicious pancakes!
How Do I Get There?
Archives Fine Books is situated in John Mills Himself – a heritage-listed building in the centre of Brisbane City. The older style building creates the perfect setting for the store, giving it a magical feel. We recommend parking on Elizabeth st and walking through Queen Street Mall to the store.
